I also filled G-28 for and sent AC21 with EAD renewal. The LUD is updated for all applications (i.e. I-485, I-140, previous I765 and I-131). Does this mean they changed the attorney representation in all previously approved cases?

If we are worried about security alert maight be raised by flowers, then send just a 'Thank You' card.
Send 'Thank you' card to USCIS/DOS etc. as well as to media for not covering REAL issues and for the undue coverage the likes of Paris get.

I would like to clarify a few things possibly misunderstood lately.
Firstly, IV core and all volunteers are fully aware and DO acknowledge that CIR, as we know today, is headed to its grave. Unless something new happens of political significance, all experts have ruled of reform before elections in November.
Secondly, IV core never has and never will bet on one bill. We have said that before and we say that again. CIR is not the only bill we are looking at for passing reforms that provide relief to legal hi-skills immigrants. We will look at the next opportunity to introduce our provisions in and are not going to sit around and wait for elections to come an go. And that means any bill. PACE, SKIL, immigration related, competitiveness related - ANYTHING.
Thirdly, no matter with IV or QGA does, or anybody does, a bill related to immigration is not going to be tabled on the House or Senate floor BEFORE CIR is officially dead. As long as CIR is even slightly in the picture, an immigration legislation will not be scheduled on Senate or House. That simply is not going to happen even if we hire 100 lobbyists and send million webfaxes. CIR has to go away first before Bill Frist or John Boehner puts another immigration bill on the schedule.
However, if CIR dies, we and other organizations like us will spare no time in making efforts to put something on schedule - from house side or senate side.

I got an email today from USCIS stating this
Current Status: Card production ordered.
I did not receive any other approval notice. I hope this means that our 485 is approved and the cards have been ordered ?

Section 202 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) states that the per-country limit for preference immigrants is set at 7% of the total annual employment-based preference limits. This means a country with large population like India and a tiny country like Lichtenstein get same number of visa numbers. This system is designed to systematically discriminate people from India and China by preventing them from attaining employment visas. More research needs to be done whether this constitutes a violation of US Equal Employment Opportunity Law. We need to find out whether this constitutes discrimination by national origin. I have a similar story. I have also been here since 1991 in status all these yrs and still without a GC. Here is my timeline.
1991 -1996: Came to US as undergrad. Worked my way through school. Full time job and full time studies. 4 yrs course took me 5 yrs as I never took summers so I can earn my fees.
1996-1998: Finished Masters.
1999 : Got my job in my current company on OPT as entry level analyst. Later that year went on H1.
2001 : Firm filed for Labor certification. Their reqt was 2 yrs work before applying for GC. Reputable American firm.
2005 : Labor certification approved.
2006 : I 140 filed and approved. Got 8-11 yr H1 extension. Still waiting for GC due to retro. Thinking of moving to Canada.
And yes in the 8 yrs I have been with my company I have got 3 promotions and am now a Manager. My companys immigration lawyer said thats ok. He just joked that when you get your green card just make sure you get tripple demotion to new role.
So when new kids on the block (<5 yrs in US) talk about GC process being screwed up, I say pick a number and wait in line. The closest example to this feeling is waiting to go to the restroom when you live in a slum and there is line of 100 ppl ahead of you to use the loo and you have loose motions :)
another story:
i have a close friend who has been here since 1991 with no GC. he came for his undergraduate studies in 1991..finished that...got a good job...met a girl...got married...girl was also an undergrad here then went to grad school...then lost his job..girl was still in school...lost almost everything
then he built his life back..got a job....started working his way up...girl graduated..worked in a small company and then changed jobs..started gc process for the 3rd time...luckily got ead and ap....girl changed jobs...bought a house...retrogression happened....and hes still waiting
can u beat that...hes been here for 16 years.
putting off decisions is very easy when it comes to gc...many times u just need to bite the bullet and live ur life. dont get me wrong.. i have put off getting my h1b stamped for over 3 yrs...havent been out of the country for 5 yrs...now i have decided its not worth it and will do it sometime this yr.
like russell peter's chinese person says "be a man...do the right thing"

If I am lucky enough I can make upto 70-80years of my age maximum, considering my age now, I might live another 30-35yrs. Just imagine what life we want, I completely agree what points you mentioned below. But you are forgetting the insidents we read in news media every day. I almost find atleast one incident where people are killed just for money........what if our fate is not good, and we encounter such situation???

I Just got a call from Senator's office. He is sending a letter to DOS today or tomorrow asking about July Visa Bulletin reversal.
I will post DOS reply as soon as I hear back from senator's office.
Moral of the story is time for action when iron is hot.

Well there is a lot of media attention already. I've been talking to so many reporters and there was a huge interest in the event.
Tomorrow, there will be a bunch of media people at USCIS to talk about this, yet in the entire DC area, only nixstor is available to go to USCIS.
How can we expect major media to cover us when we are not willing to participate in something that is of benefit to us?
