Hi guys,
My first H1B (2003) had LUD on 14th of July...and today there is a LUD on I-140. My I-140 approved in March 2007..PD is March 2005...Is it good indication that they are doing something with my I-485 case? My application reached NSC on july 2nd (not sure about time as my lawyer sent those papers). My I-140 is from TSC.
Today i added my old H1B (2003) case to my portfolio..i saw LUD on it...LUD date is '14th july 2007'...not sure...14th july is saturday...but no surprise...i saw lot of people posted that their LUD was on weekends....Is it good indication? sorry if i am asking unnecessary question..

Just a thought.
If the worst was to happen how do the USCIS know your wife is now on her own? If you have an H1B visa that has some years to run on it then this would buy time to get I485 approval.
Once the approval comes through what is to stop the USCIS issuing one to you as well as your wife.
If nobody tells the USCIS then the wheels will continue to grind along anyway.
Just a thought.

very well said... i encounter this all the time when i talk about IV to others...(extreme ignorance, indifference, lack of optimism, lethargy, let someone else do my work and finally superfical sympathy)

I could not control my feelings and shock when I read your post. We talk and cry about the delays and inconveniences but this one...OMG,,its really upsetting.. I dont believe in flower/food/sos campaigns to resolve this problem...just because it worked once before doesnt mean it is going to work again..have we pursued a class action lawsuit against Department of State/Labor/USCIS for unlawful discrimination based on the country of birth in Employment Based Visas. Any idea if IV core ever took up this path? Can we attempt to do this? What are the costs involved and can we get some good lawyer representation to this goal?
We could rally in DC and consider a lawsuit, all these lawyers advertisements you see flashing on here, when are they going to come to use? I am sure they will be able to offer a good price, if not I am sure their are a lot if immigration lawyers waiting to be a part of IV community which is gaining some momentum.
Guys I request you all, please don't wait for more time and keep contemplating your actions or putting down other IV members, we have argued and demeaned each other enough. It is my humble request, to get together and do something big

I work for company A which sent me to client C through company B(Prefered vendor). After working with the same client for 1.5 yrs, transfered my h1b to company B(PF) due to issues with the pay with company A. Company A has deducted huge sum of money($4000) from my last months pay towards PERM filing(Still under process). Upon demanding them to reimburse my money saying that its against law, they r threatening me saying that based on non-compete agreement they will take legal action against me.
I am not actually aware of the clauses in the agreement. company B(PF) told me that it does not have any clauses in its agreement with company A prohibiting them from taking me.Though i requested company A to provide me a copy of non-compete, they said i signed with them, they haven�t. The company is located in NJ and not sure how non-competes work under NJ state law.
I am really frustated upon this blackmail and going thru lot of pressure. The amount is too big too leave and cannot afford to hire a lawyer in case they file suit based on non-compete. even if i had signed a non compete agreement how does it stand as it is conflicting the agreement which company a signed with PF sayign tht upon my termination of the emplyment with them, Pf can take me without any gap period... what can i do to get my money. they also refused to provide me with experience letter which i need for my future GC filing.
Plz give me ur valuable inputs
